Description

Vegan suitable recipe using Macphie's first to market vegan certified cake mixes and frostings.

Ingredients

Macphie Vegan Muffin & Cake Mix
170g
Olympic Vegetable Oil - delisted
300g
Water
30g
Glycerine 6kg
300g
Fresh Banana
8g
Sodium Bicarbonate FFQ
500g
Macphie Vegan Frosting Vanilla - delisted
1g
Cinnamon (Ground) 6x400g
Banana Chips

Method

Mix the Vegan Cake Mix and liquids on slow speed for 1 minute, scrape down then add the fresh banana and bicarbonate of soda. Mix again on middle speed for 6 minutes

Deposit batter into desired cakes (120g for muffin cases)

Bake at 360 °F (180 °C) for 35-40 minutes

Allow to cool and decorate with Vegan Vanilla Frosting with added cinnamon. Serve with a sliced banana chip on top
